Desktop Level

• Installation of Desktop operating system

• Organizing of data on the desktop
• Configuration of email Clients such as Outlook Express/ Outlook / Fedora etc.
• Configuring Internet connections
• Data backup
• Resolve hardware issues
• Upgrade hardware when required

Network Level

• Ensure that the LAN works satisfactorily
• Ensure that all computers in the office are interconnected
• Ensure that the network is secure
• Resolve hardware problems in the network
• Manage IP addresses in the organization

Server Level

• Install and configure Servers
• Organise data to be stored centrally
• Configure email boxes on the server
• Perform server OS updates regularly
• Installation of Server firewall, Antivirus, Anti Spyware
• Install centralized application on the server
• Perform daily backups
• Configure Web applications if any
• Manage users on the Domain

Other Responsibilities

• Liaison with vendors
• Track IT related issues and follow up till they are resolved
• Provide Daily & monthly reports
